Annick RENAUD COULON, founder and President of Global Council of Corporate Universities organised the first truly global event for Corporate Universities on 2,3 and 4 April 2008. Participants from 24 countries and five continents met for three days at Campus Veolia Environnement, in Jouy-le-Moutier near Paris and Sorbonne University in Paris to work together around the theme: Make your Corporate University a lever of your Corporate Responsibility. The seminar was supported by the United Nations Global Compact, with participation from Mr. Georg Kell, Executive Director of the Global Compact in New York. By the end of this first global meeting the participants, which were Corporate University professional joining together without the outside pressure of markets, expressed their wish to continue working together in the future.
