In 2005, with the strong support of several multinational
companies, Annick Renaud-Coulon launched the Global Council
of Corporate Universities, GlobalCCU, a global organization
linking Corporate Universities Directors from all continents.
She organized the first truly global event on Corporate
Universities in France in April 2008. Participants from
24 countries and five continents met for three days at
Campus Veolia Environnement, in Jouy-le-Moutier near Paris
and Sorbonne University in Paris to work together around
the theme: Make your Corporate University a lever of your
Corporate Responsibility. The seminar was supported by
the United Nations Global Compact, with participation from
Mr. Georg Kell, Executive Director of the Global Compact

In 2002, Annick Renaud-Coulon launched The European
Club of Corporate Universities. It is an influential network
of heads of Corporate Universities, academies and institutes
of France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy and even Algeria.
The members link together with their peers to share, innovate,
benchmark and discover from each other.

For the first time, an in-depth study presents the phenomenon
of Corporate Universities from across the planet, with
detailed facts on their strategic and operational aims.
This study introduces 75 cases of corporate universities
from 17 countries.
Annick sat on the advisory board of judges from Corporate
University Best In Class (CUBIC AWARDS) from 2002 to 2004
(she was the only non American judge).
She has been a keynote speaker at numerous events:
the Global Corporate University Week in June 2002, at
Euro Disney in France, at Disneyworld in November 2003,
in April 2003 in Amsterdam. She ran a session at the
Global Corporate University Week in November 2004, at
the WACUC meeting in January 2005, in Washington DC,
at the Symposium of the Presidents of The University
of Québec in Montréal
in October 2005. She was invited by the Algerian Minister
of Petroleum in November 2005 in Oran to introduce the
concept of Corporate Universities, etc.
She has published six books. The last one written in English
is entitled, ‘Corporate Universities a lever of Corporate
Responsibility’. GlobalCCU Publisher, 2008. In ‘Universités
d'entreprise’, Pearson Education, Village Mondial,
2002, she develops an understanding of what constitutes
the New Generation of Corporate Universities. In ‘The
Next Generation of Corporate Universities’ - Dr.
Mark Allen, Ph.D. Pfeiffer, 2007, she has written a
chapter entitled: ‘Branding your Corporate University’.
She has also written a chapter in the ‘Handbook of
Corporate Universities’, a work under the direction
of Mark Allen, Ph.D. Amacom Press, May 2002.
She advises firms with the design of corporate institutes
and universities.
Annick Renaud-Coulon received a National Order of Merit
at the rank of Knight, on 18 September, 2008. This state
honour rewards a distinguished military or civil merit
given to the French nation. She received her decoration
from Mr. Belloc, Advisor to the French President, at a
private ceremony held at The Senate in Paris. The honour
is given in recognition of Annick’s passionate work
within the field of Corporate Education.
